Yamaha manufactures all action parts in-house, machining each piece to an exact tolerance of 0.05 millimeters. Frames Produced in Yamaha’s Specialized Foundry

The piano frame must withstand string tension exceeding 20 tons while also contributing to the instrument’s tonal character. Yamaha casts its frames in a dedicated factory using an advanced vacuum casting process — a pioneering approach in piano manufacturing.
